Tricks & Trails (+ Handler’s Choice)
For pups who have completed Puppy 1 & 2*
4 Mondays from 6 - 7 pm beginning April 29, 2019
In this fun-filled 4-week class, we’ll divide our time training three different skills:
The Tricks: There's nothing "dumb" about pet tricks! The foundational skills used to teach tricks are exactly the same skills needed for any kind of training; many of the tricks themselves are useful behaviors dogs and handlers can use in Real Life. Plus, it’s super fun and enriching for your dog!
The Trails: Now that Puppy is older, she’s ready for more Out-and-About in public. Oh, the excitement! Oh, the distractions! Oh, the darned leash pulling! In this section of class, we’ll learn great exercises and drills to teach our Adventure Pups to walk nicely on leash and be civil in the great wide world.
Handler’s Choice: Got an issue? That pesky behavior that you can’t seem to fix? Bring it on! In this class, each student will pick the “project” behavior of their choice and get individual coaching on how to tackle it successfully.
This class is for pups & adolescents who have attended the basic Puppy 1 & 2 classes (*or permission of instructor. ) Space is limited, so register early to guarantee your space! All pups must be current on vaccinations.
