SAFER KIDS/SAFER DOGS
A Lecture for Humans who love and live with dogs.
Tuesday Feb. 19, 2019
from 6:30 - 8 pm
Cost: $10 at the door

Children. Dogs. It can be a match made in heaven--a magical bond between a special young person and their best furry friend. Or it can be disaster waiting to happen.
Every year, millions of children are bitten by dogs. And by far, they are bitten not by strange dogs or roaming strays, but by the family pet, by dogs belonging to friends, relatives or neighbors--by the dogs they know.
In this informative talk, we’ll look at why things can go so very wrong, what the children “see,” what the dogs “see,” and what adults can easily miss. We’ll consider the common warning signs, what we can realistically expect from children of different ages and how and when to intervene--before there’s an unfortunate event. Come join us!
Seating is limited, so if you plan to attend, please RSVP below. Thanks!
Note: this is a seminar for HUMANS only! Please leave dogs at home
(service dogs excepted)
Thank you for the RSVP. We look forward to seeing you at the School for Dogs & Their People for Understanding Middle Dog on Sept. 6th at 6:30 pm.
