Basic Manners & Obedience
For Adolescent dogs between 6 months - 1 year

It's never too late to improve a dog's learning! For dogs beyond the puppy stage, this class will focus on:
building needed real-life behaviors like Sit, Down, Stay, Come and Heel
greeting visitors calmly, without jumping or mouthiness
developing impulse control and attention, even around distractions
effective play and games for exercising and calming your dog
trouble-shooting problem behaviors and bad habits
Class requirements: Class space is limited, so register early to guarantee your space. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. All levels of training are welcome, but please, if your dog has aggression, fear or reactivity issues, or would be seriously stressed by a group setting around unfamiliar people & other dogs, consult with the trainer before registering!
Introduction to TEAM
For pups & dogs over 6 months who have completed a basic class
Saturdays from 3 - 4 pm starting January 11th
Cost: $75.00 per 4 sessions

A brainchild of the fine folks at Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, TEAM stands for Training Excellence Assessment Modules--but it really should stand for Most Fun Ever! Each TEAM Level consists of a series of exercises that challenge all aspects of your training and your dog, from nose to feet to tail. Stays, position changes, working at distances, targeting, rear end awareness, even nosework!--it's all there and it's all fun.

This is an ideal class for:
On-the-go pups who need a “job” to let off steam
Small space exercise & stimulation on cold nights
Getting ready for Agility or other performance sports
Anyone who wants to have fun with their dog!
Class requirements: Permission of instructor required. Class space is limited, so register early to guarantee your space. This is an intermediate class for dogs with some training; if your dog has fear, reactivity or aggression issues, or would be severely stressed by a group setting, consult with the trainer before registering!
Dancing with Your Dog: Canine Freestyle
4 Mondays begins July 27th at 6:30 pm Cost: $75.00
Whether you want to improve your heeling, learn some cool tricks or just deepen the bond with your dog, Canine Freestyle is a wonderful way to explore new training horizons. Why? Because:

Spin. Twirl. Leg weaves. Create a whole routine--or just heel to your own drummer with your dog. Find your beat to the music, and your heartbeat with your dog!
Class requirements: Permission of instructor required. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. This is an intermediate class suitable for dogs of all ages who have completed any basic, CGC or agility class and are comfortable working in a group setting. Basic Manners for Adolescents & Adults
In beginning classes, we'll use neat games, toys and food treats to teach your puppy or dog the behaviors you want. You'll learn the best way to communicate with your individual dog and how to deliver rewards with good placement and timing for maximum learning impact. We'll also talk about how to "read" dog body language, stop unwanted behaviors and how to recognize and promote healthy play between dogs.
Puppy classes are for pups 12 weeks to 6 months of age.*
Adolescent & Adult classes are for dogs 6 months and older*
* Please Note: Ages approximate. Small breed dogs may do best in the puppy section; large breed pups in the older dog section; any questions about which is best for your dog, please call!
Intermediate Level Classes:
Intermediate Classes are for dogs and pups who have completed the beginning classes or the equivalent.
